adobe is of course known as the makers of flash. that little plugin to the browser so you can view flash is also from adobe. by adding adobe's repo to your machine, you will automatically update the flash plugin whenever you update your system and updates are available.there are 2 ways to add the repo. the first is by manually visiting adobe.com and on the "get adobe plugin" page you select "yum for linux" instead of rpm. or you enter the following command:
rpm -Uvh http://linuxdownload.adobe.com/adobe-release/adobe-release-i386-1.0-1.noarch.rpm
thats about it other than letting you all know the rpm package is called flash-plugin as in
yum -y install flash-plugin
by the way, this is the third in a series of 4 articles. the others are for skype and for rpmfusion
